Pottery Project in Lawrencetown, NS

Soldier On will be hosting an intro to pottery at Cerberus Pottery Studio with Lynette Peters. This event will run over two Saturdays on the 15th and the 29th of January from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This activity will bring together both serving and retired ill/injured CAF members, allowing participants to connect through peer support and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle.

*Both days must be attended as the one day will be working with clay and the other will be glazing and firing.

Pottery helps you to express your creativity, which is essentially to expand who we are and how we connect to ourselves and the environment. It's a good way to explore their creative side and not only go home with a unique piece but with a new skill set they can enjoy.

The series of sessions will build on the participant’s skills like clay selection, cutting, moulding and forming.

Assistance throughout the event will be provided courtesy of Lynette Peters from Cerberus Pottery.

The number of Soldier On participants is eight members.
