About Us
Soldier On is a Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) program managed and delivered by Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) through Personal Support Programs (PSP), on behalf of the Canadian Armed Forces Transition Group (CAF TG). Supported through a combination of Government of Canada public funding and the Soldier On Fund, the program helps ill and injured CAF members and veterans pursue recovery, rehabilitation, and connection through sport, recreation, and creative activities.
Since its inception in 2007, Soldier On has supported more than 16,000 serving CAF members and veterans, offering a safe and inclusive environment focused on recovery, personal growth, and renewed purpose.
Through participation in sport, recreation, and creative activities, Soldier On helps participants build confidence, develop new skills, reconnect socially, and rediscover meaningful opportunities and passions. By connecting members with peers who share similar experiences, the program often plays a pivotal role in recovery, transition to civilian life, and overall well-being.
