AIM AND SCOPE OF EVENT:  
Soldier On is organizing Cooking Classes in collaboration with www.madamegermaine.com on March 24th and 25th 2026. Participants will join friendly and experimented chef to learn cooking technics, obtain good advices and discover new flavours from all around the world. During the 3 hour course, participants will work as a team to prepare a full meal and they will set around the table to taste it once the preparation is done. Regardless of the current skill level, up to 24 participants will have the opportunity to use the art of cooking of as part of their recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration.

The number of Soldier On participants is limited to twelve (12) per day for a total of twenty-four (24).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: 
Any serving member or veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) from the Larger Québec City Region (within 90 min of car travel) who acquired a permanent physical or mental health illness or injury while enrolled as a member of the CAF; whether attributable or not to service.

Selected Serving members will require the approval of their Chain of Command to participate.

Tuesday March 24th, 10h45 - 13h45 (Group A)     
Wednesday March 25th, 10h45 - 13h45 (Group B)

TRANSPORTATION & MEALS:
Participants are advised that transportation will not be provided by Soldier On for this event. Participants will be required to arrange their own travel to and from the event location. Participants will be able to have lunch during the activity.

Mental & Physical Requirements:
Applicants must be able to tolerate 3 hours of light paced activities. Due to the busy activity schedule, applicants must have a limited requirement for rest throughout the day. Applicants will be joined with other ill/injured members and civilians, and therefore should be able to function in a social environment.
