Quebec Ride & Slide
The application period for Soldier On members wishing to participate in the Ride & Slide event in Québec on July 9th and 10th is now open.
The application deadline is Friday June 26th at 12h00.
AIM AND SCOPE OF EVENT:
Soldier On is organizing the Quebec Ride & Slide event in collaboration with
www.cycloservices.net and
www.preski.ca on July 9th and 10th 2026
. For the first day dedicated to cycling, participants will join friendly and experienced guides to discover several tourist attractions during their ride. For the second day of skiing, participants will receive support from a qualified instructor to improve their technique using the comfort of a simulator unique in Canada. Regardless of their skill level, up to 12 participants will have the opportunity to practice cycling and skiing as part of their recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration.
The number of Soldier On participants is limited to twelve
(12).
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Any serving member or veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF)
from the Larger Québec City Region (within 90 min of car travel) who acquired a permanent physical or mental health illness or injury while enrolled as a member of the CAF; whether attributable or not to service.

Serving members will require the approval of their Chain of Command to participate.

Friday July 10th / 09h30 Arrival to Préski - 10h00 Ski lesson - 12h00 End of day Day #2
TRANSPORTATION & MEALS:
Participants are advised that transportation will not be provided by Soldier On for this event. Participants will be required to arrange their own travel to and from the event location. We recommend that participants bring their own water bottle and snacks.
