Paint & Resin Collective: Creative Cove - 2026 - Courtenay, BC
The application period for Soldier On members wishing to participate in the Paint & Resin Collective on July 13th 2026, is now open.
The application deadline is 30 June 2026 @ 1200 PST.
AIM AND SCOPE OF EVENT:
Soldier On is excited to partner with Creative Cove for a 4.5-hour calming and creative workshop on Monday, July 13th from 1200 till 1630. During this workshop, you will have the opportunity to participate in two different creative activities. The first activity will be a 2-hour pottery painting session. You will choose a pottery piece that has already been created by Creative Cove and paint it however you like, giving it your own special finish and personal touch. The second activity will also be 2 hours long and will involve working with resin. Participants will create a resin charcuterie board to take home. You will work alongside an instructor from Creative Cove, who will guide you through the process and teach you how to properly apply resin onto wood while following step-by-step instructions. Since resin requires 24-72 hours to fully set and dry, you will need to return later to pick up your finished creation. This workshop welcomes all skill levels and is a great opportunity to relax, connect with other Soldier On members, and learn new creative skills.
The number of Soldier On participants is limited to
13.
