E-ON Golf Day - 2026 - Eganville, On
The application period for Soldier On members wishing to participate in the E-ON Region Eganville Golf Day on 9 September 2026 is now open.
The application deadline is 20 August 2026.
AIM AND SCOPE OF EVENT:
Soldier On, in collaboration with the Whitetail Golf Club, Eganville, ON is hosting an Introduction to Golf complete with golf instruction and an 18 hole round of golf. This event will be held on 9 September 2026. This local golf event will provide an opportunity for Soldier On participants to learn or improve basic golfing techniques through instruction and play. Participants will enjoy 2 hours of group golf lessons under the guidance of two Canadian Golf Teaching Professionals. The day will culminate in playing 18 holes of golf with carts
The number of Soldier On participants is limited to
12.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Any serving member or veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF)
from the Eastern Ontario Region within a reasonable driving distance to Eganville, (excludes the NCR and South Ontario Regions) who acquired a permanent physical or mental health illness or injury while enrolled as a member of the CAF; whether attributable or not to service.

Serving members will require the approval of their Chain of Command to participate.
DRAFT SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: 9 September 2026
- 08:30 Welcome and Preparations
- 09:00 Lessons
- 11:00 Lunch
- 12:00 First tee-off time.
- 16:00 Event Ends.
TRANSPORTATION & MEALS:
Participants are advised that transportation
will not be provided by Soldier On for this event. Participants will be required to arrange their own travel to and from the event location and is not eligible for reimbursement. A group lunch will be provided.
Mental & Physical Requirements:
Applicants must be able to tolerate
7 hours of moderate paced activities for 1
day. Due to the busy activity schedule, applicants must have a limited requirement for rest throughout the day.
Applicant must retain general mobility and strength in limbs required to perform a full or adapted golf swing.
Applicants must maintain general strength and agility to ambulate over uneven terrain.
Applicants will be joined with other ill/injured members and civilians, and therefore should be able to function in a social environment.
