Stained Glass Workshop - 2026 - Belleville, ON

The application period for Soldier On members wishing to participate in the E-ON Stained Glass Workshop on 9-10 November 2026 is now open. The application deadline is 26 October.

AIM AND SCOPE OF EVENT:

Soldier On, will host a Stained Glass workshop at Cracked Glass Design, Belleville ON on 9 & 10 November 2026. This basic introduction to Stained Glass workshop offers participants an opportunity to gain an appreciation and understanding of basic Stained Glass skills through a hands on course. Creating stained glass art using the copper foil method involves designing a pattern, scoring and cutting the glass, wrapping the edges, and soldering the pieces together.

The number of Soldier On participants is limited to 10.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Any serving member or veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) from the Eastern ON Region within a reasonable drive to Belleville  who acquired a permanent physical or mental health illness or injury while enrolled as a member of the CAF; whether attributable or not to service.

Selected Serving members will require the approval of their Chain of Command to participate. 

DRAFT SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: 9-10 November (Each day.)
1000 – Welcome briefing and introductions;
1010 – Stained Glass begins;
1200 – Lunch
1230 - Stained Glass continues.
1600 - Wrap Up.

TRANSPORTATION & MEALS:
Participants are advised that transportation, accommodations and meals will not be provided by Soldier On for this event. Participants will be required to arrange their own travel to and from the event location, travel is not eligible for reimbursement for this event.
