Indoor Outdoor Floral Arrangements Workshop - 2026 - Etobicoke, ON

The application period for Soldier On members wishing to participate in the Indoor-Outdoor Floral Arrangements Workshop Etobicoke Ontario, 5 May 2026 is now open. The application deadline is 10 April 2026.

AIM AND SCOPE OF EVENT:  
This local event will serve as an introduction to flower potting. Over a half day workshop participants will learn about planting outdoor decorative planters and indoor succulents in Etobicoke Ontario 5 May 2026. Facilitators from Anga’s Farm and Nursery will assist throughout and guide participants through the workshop. All equipment and supplies will be provided to the participants.

The number of Soldier On participants is limited to 10.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: 
Any serving member or veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) from the Greater Toronto Area who acquired a permanent physical or mental health illness or injury while enrolled as a member of the CAF; whether attributable or not to service.

Selected Serving members will require the approval of their Chain of Command to participate. 

DRAFT SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Tuesday 5 May 2026 
09:15hrs - Arrival; 
0930-1300hrs - Floral arrangement workshop; and 
13:10hrs - Departure.

TRANSPORTATION & MEALS:
Participants are advised that transportation and meals will not be provided by Soldier On for this event. Participants will be required to arrange their own travel to and from the event location. 

Mental & Physical Requirements:
Applicants must be able to tolerate 4 hours of moderate paced activities for the day. Participants will be joined with other ill/injured members and civilians, and therefore should be able to function in a social environment. Applicants also acknowledge that there will be no alcohol consumption allowed during the conduct of this event.
