NCR SWIM PROGRAM - 2026 - Ottawa, ON

The application period for Soldier On members wishing to participate in the NCR SWIM PROGRAM on June 16, 18, 23, 24, 25 is now open. The application deadline is 24 May 2026.

AIM AND SCOPE OF EVENT:
Make a splash with Soldier On this June! Soldier On is excited to offer a five‑session swim program led by the team at the Uplands Military Community Centre Pool in the afternoons of June 16, 18, 23, 24, and 25. This progressive program is designed to help participants build confidence, efficiency, and skill in the water, with focused instruction on swim propulsion, multiple stroke techniques, endurance development, and overall aquatic performance.

The program is ideal for members who are already comfortable in the water and able to swim 25 metres unassisted, and who are looking to refine their technique, expand their stroke repertoire, and swim smarter and stronger. Each session builds toward improvement and mastery, culminating in a special review and preparation session on June 24, ensuring everyone feels confident and ready to dive into our Soldier On Mini Swim Meet on June 25!

Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills, challenge yourself, or enjoy a supportive and motivating pool environment, this program offers the perfect opportunity to push your limits and celebrate progress—one lap at a time!
Language of Instruction: English

The number of Soldier On participants is limited to 20.
