Indoor Golf Simulator - 2026 - London, ON

The application period for Soldier On members wishing to participate in the Indoor Golf Simulator London 28-29 Jan 2026 is now open. The application deadline is 4 January 2026

AIM AND SCOPE OF EVENT:  
This event will see 9 participants from the London, Strathroy, Woodstock, Port Stanley area participate in two consecutive 4 hour indoor golf workshop in London, Ontario 28-29 Jan. 9 participants will be joined by PGA teaching professionals for a 1 hour lesson followed by a round of 18 holes at the indoor golf facility Extreme Golf.

The number of Soldier On participants is limited to 9.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: 
Any serving member or veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) from the London Ontario and surrounding areas who acquired a permanent physical or mental health illness or injury while enrolled as a member of the CAF; whether attributable or not to service.

Selected Serving members will require the approval of their Chain of Command to participate. 

DRAFT SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 January 2026 
1:45 PM - Arrival; 
2:00-3:00PM  - Golf Pro instruction; 
3:00- 6:00PM - 18 hole virtual round; and 
6:10 PM - Departure.

TRANSPORTATION & MEALS:
Applicants are advised that meals and transportation will not be provided by Soldier On for this event. Participants will be required to arrange their own travel to and from the event location, travel and meals are not eligible for reimbursement for this event.  Participants also acknowledge that there will be no alcohol consumption allowed during the conduct of this event.

Mental & Physical Requirements:
Applicants must be able to tolerate 4 hours of moderate paced activities for each day and must be able to swing a golf club without issue and must not be in violation of their MELs, adaptations can be made to accommodate specific needs. Participants will be joined with other ill/injured members and civilians, and therefore should be able to function in a social environment. Applicants also acknowledge that there will be no alcohol consumption allowed during the conduct of this event.
