Intro to Wheelchair Sports Clinic - 2025 - Kingston, On

The application period for Soldier On members wishing to participate in the Eastern Ontario Region Introduction to Wheelchair Sports Clinic on 3 December 2025 is now open. The application deadline is 24 November 2025.

AIM AND SCOPE OF EVENT:

Both wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby are sports played by many athletes who are not wheelchair dependent, including at the  Invictus Games.

Have you ever considered applying for the Soldier On International events such as the Invictus Games? This is an opportunity to participate in some of the sports that are offered at these events and to be introduced to Soldier On and the relationship to Invictus Games and how we support our CAF disabled community. Soldier On members from the Eastern Ontario region are being invited to  participate in a day of Introduction to Wheelchair Basketball and Wheelchair Rugby for a unique sporting experience.  Soldier On will also use this day to mark the International Day for Persons with Disabilities, recognizing the many accomplishments of our Soldier On members.

This fun day is open to Soldier On members with and without physical limitations or barriers. Soldier On members without physical limitations are encouraged to apply in order to field enough spots for two teams.  All required equipment will be provided. If selected to attend the event, you will be expected to participate in the sports to the best of your ability. Having fun is up to you!

The number of Soldier On participants is limited to 30.
