Allied Winter Sports Camp

The Allied Winter Sports Camp has come and gone, once again. This amazing camp provides an opportunity for ill and injured, retired and serving, members of the CAF, alongside their allied brethren, an opportunity to learn and practise Nordic/alpine skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, bobsleigh/skeleton, sledge hockey and ziplining.
For many of the participants, it was their first time attempting any of these sports.

For almost 10 days, our participants tested themselves, tried new sports, and connected with fellow veterans.
The connection between physical activity and recovery cannot be overstated. The impact that this event, and others like it can have, is life changing for our members.

Along the way, the participants received unparalleled assistance form organizations like the Whistler Adaptive Winter Sports Camp, the City of Whistler, The Athletes Lodge, the Whistler Sliding Centre, Superfly Ziplines, and many others. This event is not possible without their support and that of generous Canadians.
