Soldier On Grant Program
Participation in sport or physical activity is an integral part of your recovery, but the financial cost may be too high.
Thank you for your interest in applying for a Soldier On Grant. At this time, the grant program is temporarilly closed to allow the large backlog of existing applications to clear. We thank you for your undertsanding and patience.
We can provide you with short-term financial support so that the cost does not stand in the way of your active lifestyle. We’ve already given more than $5 million directly to support your peers.
We can help you:
- acquire sporting or recreational equipment; and/or
- participate in structured group activities.
As an official grant program of the Canadian Armed Forces, the Fund is entirely financially supported through donations received from Canadians, members of the Canadian Armed Forces, small businesses, corporations, and foundations.
Any serving member or Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces who acquired a permanent physical or mental health illness or injury while serving their country.
Other beneficiaries may include members from other government departments that have acquired a permanent illness or injury while supporting Canadian Armed Forces operations; these will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
Applications are accepted throughout the year.
